Cheung fun (腸粉), Chinese rice noodle roll, is a classic dim sum dish. This is a quick and easy version that will satisfy your dim sum cravings!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack Chinese rice noodle rolls
Savoury Sauce
  • ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
  • 1.5 tbsp hoisin sauce
Peanut Sauce
  • ½ tbsp smooth peanut butter
  • ½ tbsp warm water
Toppings (optional)
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • green onions sliced
  • peanuts crushed

Method
 

  1. Steam rice noodle rolls for one minute or until soft and moist. Cut into bite sized pieces and arrange on plate.
  2. Make the 2 sauces by mixing everything together.
  3. Drizzle sauces over cheung fun to taste.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds, green onions and/or crushed peanuts. Enjoy!

Notes

If you have a peanut allergy, you can omit the peanut sauce and crushed peanuts on top.
