Equipment

  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Large Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 6 butter croissants day old,
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp parsley dried
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup butter salted, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl enough for your croissant, add egg, milk, garlic, garlic powder, parsley, sugar and melted butter. Mix until sugar has dissolved and set aside.
  • Using day old croissants, dip the top of each croissant into the garlic mixture. Place clean side down on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining croissants. If there are minced garlic pieces that remain in the garlic mixture, you can spoon them on top of the croissant.
  • Bake at 400F for 5-7 minutes until golden. Oven times may vary. Enjoy!

Notes

Use day old butter croissants. I buy my croissants from Costco instead of making them from scratch. This recipe is a quick and easy version and it's okay to cheat sometimes!
To evenly distribute the garlic flavor, finely mince the garlic cloves. You can use a garlic press or a sharp knife to achieve this.
You can omit the sugar if you do not prefer the hint of sweetness.
It is best to reheat in the air fryer until they are heated through and crispy.
